Your mission :

  • Work in partnership and as a team with existing colleagues
  • Implementation of an analysis of short, medium and long term supply costs
  • Establish a cost reduction strategy and the steps needed to get there
  • Prospect suppliers and carry out the necessary market research
  • Prepare quotes considering the best acquisition cost
  • Negotiate with suppliers based on price, quality and delivery times
  • Contribute to developing and consolidating the current and future supplier base
  • Follow up and contact suppliers when agreements or requirements are not respected
  • Collaborate with Operations Manager and Sales Manager to plan inventory needs
  • Maintain healthy inventory management (layout and process)
  • Make sure to avoid inventory shortages
  • Ensure compliance and maintenance of requirements related to the quality system
  • Measure monthly and work to improve product line performance indicators
  • Contribute to inventory optimization with the production team
  • Track required payments with administration
  • Analyze and evaluate transport, logistics and customs resources
  • Make the necessary follow-ups with the management team

Your profile :

  • BAC in business administration, logistics and/or a combination of training and experience deemed relevant
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of our market (important asset)
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Bilingualism (French-English)
